2027 Green Heart STEM Challenge - FIRE

The Green Heart STEM Challenge is a youth-facing challenge focused on identifying and designing feasible solutions to address environmental challenges in our communities. NEW for 2027, The Challenge is only open to middle school students grades 6th-8th and should be completed by TEAMS of 2 to 5 students under the guidance of an adult advisor. This year's Green Heart STEM Challenge is focused on the Planeteer Element of FIRE, with focuses on Renewable Energy, Electric & Alternative Transportation, Low-Carbon Cooking Fuels, and Reduced Reliance on Fossil Fuels.

Welcome Back! If you are an educator who participated in a previous Green Heart STEM Challenge (or other Project Hero Quests) and already have an account, please follow these steps to register for the current Green Heart STEM Challenge:

LOGIN to your account using the button below, or the login in the header of this page.
Once logged in, look for the Green Heart STEM Challenge - RETURNING Educator Registration (in the purple box). Click on it to open the RETURNING registration form.
Complete and submit the form with information about your students participating in the Challenge this year.
Once that form has been submitted, click the link that reads Add the 2027 Green Heart STEM Challenge
This will take you to the ADD QUEST option in your account. Select Green Heart STEM Challenge - FIRE from the dropdown menu and assign it a name.
Click SUBMIT and the system will add the Challenge to your dashboard.
